Leading c-store brand marks completion of over 25 Northwest Arkansas rebrands as progress continues throughout state

Salt Lake City, May 9, 2025 – Maverik — Adventure’s First Stop celebrated the Grand Opening of its newly rebranded Springdale store at 4451 N. Thompson St. with a Rope-Cutting Ceremony and $25K Northwest Arkansas Food Bank donation on Friday, May 9. The event also marked the completion of more than 25 Kum & Go rebrands across Northwest Arkansas, bringing Maverik’s fresh-made BonFire food, award-winning clean restrooms and exceptional service to customers across the region.
Senior Director of Regional Operations (Ozark Region) Matt Spangler and local Maverik store leadership hosted the official Grand Opening Rope Cutting and welcomed the community to enjoy adventurous Maverik swag, free samples and exclusive Grand Opening deals.
Maverik also presented a $25,000 donation to Northwest Arkansas Food Bank as part of its ongoing commitment to helping address food insecurity in the communities where it operates. This contribution is part of a larger annual gift Maverik will soon announce to Feeding America®, supporting food banks across its 21-state footprint. Northwest Arkansas Food Bank Director of Development Jeff Thacker accepted the donation on behalf of the organization.
